Hi, my name is Patrick Mangan and I am a student at Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend, Wisconsin. I am majoring in Web Development and Design. About a year and a half ago, I was in Human Resources. I didn’t really have any idea of what I wanted to be. I wasn’t too interested in Human Resources after my first semester. I managed to look over the fliers that were in the front lobby, and tried to pick which program would fit me. That’s when I chose Web Development and Design for my next program. I never knew anything about how a website was designed and developed until I took the course. Even though it can be difficult to learn, it’s great to understand how it all works. There are many tutorials online that can help you develop and design websites for everyone. Building a website is just like designing a building on a drawing board, except it’s all online. When making a website, you can save it as .html, .php, and .js.

        My goal is to build a functional, designed website that will be great for businesses and big companies. I also want to help people develop and design a successful web site as well. When creating your own website, there are many resources to follow when doing it. Not all web development requires coding experience, but it’s always best to learn it. For example, you can develop a site on Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Weebly, etc. You can take your time with practicing; believe you me, I’m still learning! When practicing one tutorial at a time, you will be a SUCCESSFUL Web Designer!
