Fifth Week Internship Work

In my fifth week, I managed to finish my Site Structures for both of my clients. Ray’s Auto Body in Jackson has already looked over the Site Structures and agreed on all the structures that were applied. Germantown Sno-Drifters is still looking over the Site Structures and hasn’t asked me questions about it. I let them know if they had any questions or wanted any changes to be made to them. The owner of Ray’s Auto Body gave me a magazine article titled “10 Mistakes Body Shops Make On Their Website.” The top ten were describing Mobile-Friendly, Shop Contact Info, Too Many Words, Too Busy, Google and Yelp, Poor-Quality Images, The Back End, and Security. The only thing I wish they added into the article is Search Engine Optimization and Colors because Search Engine Optimization helps you to create keywords and descriptions and helps users find your website on any search engines like Google, Yahoo!, etc. and colors because if websites are using very bad color schemes that don’t go well with the site, chances are users will never go to your site again. Here is the link to the PODCAST BODY SHOP. Right now, I am searching for WordPress Themes for Ray’s Auto Body and working on the Domain Name Registration document. I am also trying to login into Germantown Sno-Drifters old site that uses Google Classics. I have to move the files to Google Sites because Google Classics will no longer be available in Fall 2021. I made a mistake in creating a new Google Account for the client since she didn’t have the email address and password. I thought I might as well create a new Google Account and New Google Site just to save trouble. Little did I know, they would have two websites, one old and one new. So, I talked it over with Tammy and it was best to log into the old site than to create a new one. Finally, Sno-Drifters gave me the old email and password from someone who is no longer in the club. The one question I have is is it possible to change your old email to an old Google Account?

Fifth Week Internship Work Comment

  1. Hello,
Have your clients asked any questions that you were not sure of? I think that was a good idea to look up the top ten mistakes. Are you nervous about anything with designing and developing these sites?
