In my tenth week, I managed to create a color palette for Ray’s Auto Body and Germantown Sno-Drifters. It was most difficult coming across colors with Ray’s Auto Body because they didn’t have a logo. However, I will be creating their logo by taking pictures of license plates and connecting the letter all together to have it say “RAYS AUTO BODY” and it will be exactly like a License plate sign. My Dad has collected license plates from over the years and I took pictures of them and the ones I used at Ray’s Auto Body. My client thought of the idea to create their logo that way and I was all for it. I can’t wait to create the logo using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator. I did meet with my client to discuss color schemes and with that, I was able to create a Color Palette. For Germantown Sno-Drifters, I managed to create their Color Palette as well to fit the color of their logo. The trouble I’m having while using Google Sites is depending on what Template you chose, the logo will look smaller and I want to add another logo image onto their page, but it’s too big to fit. I’m also having trouble creating a Contact Form. I tried coding the HTML tags but didn’t create a PHP file to connect. I created a Google Form and added it to the website and it didn’t work too well. When I refreshed the page, it said that my form was sent every time. To access a Google Site, you’ll need to log into your Google Account to view it which is why I’m asking my client who owns the WCASC site since the Germantown Sno-Drifters site is a subdomain. For VRT Systems, I called SunAnt Interactive and got the website files, and transferred my dad’s domain name to my GoDaddy account since he’s family. I also worked on my Portfolio site over the week and I’m having a difficult time with adding Media Queries and adding a mobile menu bar for mobile and tablet probably with Bootstrap or Foundation. I’ve always wanted to know how to create one, I just keep forgetting how to do it. If anyone has any resources on media queries and creating a mobile menu for mobile and tablet, it will really help me out. I’ve had a lot on my shoulders with Internship Work, schoolwork, and my job. I also hope to speed things up within a week or two to finish my three Internship projects.
Hi Patrick,
This sounds like an awesome project. Are you strong in creating logos? If so do you have any tips that really helped make you get better?
