Thirteenth Internship Week

In my thirteen week, I worked on creating Ray’s Auto Body images and site, created a new navigation page for Germantown Sno-Drifters with a client video, and added more Search Engine Optimization for my Dad’s VRT System site. For Ray’s Auto Body, I was able to get some pictures to add on their site. They gave me a picture of their business back in 1917. Ray’s Auto Body wanted me to have it where one half of the image shows what it look like in the past and one half of the image shows the present. I then reversed the model for the second image. I managed to take a picture of the present building to add on the side. I added a plugin in WordPress called Smart Slider to animate and slide images. It is very helpful and easy to use. The cool thing is that in their old 1917 photo of the building, it shows a car on the left side of the building. I manage to add a picture of the car from 2014. I was so surprised that car was still around and the guy who owns it is from North or South Dakota. If the guy still lived in Wisconsin, I would have liked to add that same car to the present photo to let people know that car is still around. I also had Dom help me add an HTTPS to raysautojackson.com. For Germantown Sno-Drifters, my client wanted me to create a video on how to make a Gallery page using Google Sites. It took me many tries to create the video because I get nervous of giving presentation on a video. I was able to create it and send it to my client to review. I keep on contacting the owners of the WCASC site and I’m still not getting a response. I hope to get contacted by this weekend so I can post their new Google Site to the same subdomain. For VRT System. I was able to add more Search Engine Optimizations in the keywords and descriptions. I am going to purchase Web Hosting on GoDaddy for the VRT System site sometime this week when I’m not too busy. So far, I am over the amount of hours I need for the Web and Mobile Internship class and all I need to do is get the sites finished and launched.
